Video pitches are popular these days to solicit investors (individuals or professionals) or partners to fund or support the entrepreneurial project. But it is still necessary to make a good video pitch to stand out and attract the interest of its targets. HomeBusniess.Com helps you to put the odds on your side.

Adapt to its public

We mentioned in our previous record on the video pitch but it is important to remember: you have to adapt to your audience! For example, for a crowdfunding campaign targeting specific, you favor (we will discuss later), empathy, including storytelling and beautiful pictures, humor or whatever. If they are investors you are targeting, it will not do without a few more technical aspects such as, minima, the way you earn money, information that matters little individual backers.

Do not hesitate to be humorous

Humor can create a complicity with the viewer and lighten the tone of the video pitch. But beware: you can quickly slip into bad humor (avoid gravel jokes, racist, misogynist, etc.). See above: adapting to the audience!

Dose the pace

A good video pitch should be rhythmic. Neither too slow nor too fast. The installation help it but again, avoid doing too much. The right mix remains the solution. Ultimately it's your passion that has the best chance to generate empathy and even sympathy from your viewer. So repeat, be natural and let your heart (with birds singing ...).

Tell a story

Storytelling when you hold us! It is not a question, of course, to tell the story of Little Red Riding Hood. But the history of your project, your story or your team. How did the idea, how the team was formed, how the project is mounted: these are data that interests the viewer of your pitch ... and create empathy! This also creates dynamism. You are doing two things at once. But beware: a story, it is told, and much more. Keep it short, concise and effective.

While filming

We will finish on this point: you need a good equipment. Some digital cameras allow taking a high-quality video view. But it will take to have a good goal and seek to frame someone. Or it will put the unit up and predict his plans without out! It will also pay attention to the sound. Ideally, it is better to focus a plug external sound that you will add to the playlist. Or it must be ensured that the sound will be of good quality.
