The demand is the number of monthly searches

Google Adwords is an essential tool to use for your search keywords.

Well, the "demand" is the monthly search volume.

The offer is the number of pages indexed by Google

To know the value of the offer, enter the exact expression of your keyword in Google. For the application to be considered a Type exact query expression, you must place the words in quotes that make up your keyword.

For example, if your keyword is learning guitar, you're not going to learn guitar but typing "learn the guitar".

Google will then indicate the number of indexed pages corresponding to this expression. These are the "results".

Offer = the number of results.

The higher the ratio request / offer, the more easy it is to be well positioned

Now that you know the supply and demand for your keyword, you will be able to calculate the offer / demand ratio.

Example: keyword "website promotion", the demand is 50 and the supply is equal to 8630. What makes us a ratio of about 50/8630 = 0.0058.

For the keyword "make known its website," the request is 70 and the offer is 8520. What makes us a ratio of 70/8520 = 0.0082.

Wondering perhaps this ratio for you?

The higher the ratio, the easier it will be to position a web page on the word corresponding key.

So by calculating the ratio for each keyword on your list, you'll be able to classify your keywords and select those in which it will be easier to position yourself.

This strategy ratio allows you to prioritize your keywords. You know on what keywords work for acquiring targeted traffic.

Refine keyword research by checking the number of competing pages optimized

For your keyword research is as relevant as possible, you'll complete your selection by checking for a number of keyword optimized pages that stand out in Google.

You may be wondering how to tell if a page is optimized for a keyword?

It's very simple. A well optimized page is a page whose title and description contain the exact keyword.

For example, for the keyword "website promotion" a page with the title "How to promote a website" is less optimized a page with the title "Promotion website with social networks" . The second title contains the exact keyword.

To refine the selection of keywords, you'll look if pages are at the top of the search results are optimized. In cases where a page is not optimized for a keyword, it will be easy to pass him before optimizing your page on that keyword.
